Attic Shots Part 4: 2ND Chance

Hello there blogger friends! Please forgive me for being a little absent lately, I've been pretty busy & also pretty lazy sometimes ;) I've been enjoying the fantastic weather in Holland for the last couple of days... I hope you enjoyed some sunshine as well!

But I also worked on my Attic Shots! This time the theme for me was re-using old or second-hand stuff & giving them a new fresh look! I also mixed it up with some Tokyo inspiration I took with me from my trip. For example the Japanese newspapers I used to decorate the wall & some vases. I still spotted a lot of neon there so I have a feeling it's gonna be here for a while! Almost everything I used in this theme is second-hand. When you re-use a second-hand product, in a way you give it a 2ND Chance. I love this idea! If you have any questions about where what is from or how I made something, just ask! I love to read your comments!

  3. Lovely photos! What did you use to wrap around the lampshade frame to make it neon pink?

    1. Thanks! I used neon wool to wrap around the lampshade. It took me a little patience (& a little super glue) but other than that is pretty simple!

      Hello Marij!
Yes, it is true that French is a beautiful language but lasts to learn (I, I am invalid in English!)
      I LIKE your blog :))
I said that I adored your blog and your photos. I so like your creations that I say that I am certainly going to publish a message on my blog.
Then to finish, I said that I also realized opinion a shop window with some in the daytime when I painted with paint sprays neon.
Well, I do not know if you go to understand this message in English.
      Good day Valérie

  6. Hi. Absolutely gorgeous! I love what you did with the wall of newspapers. How did you colour those plates neon pink without covering the pattern underneath?

    1. Thanks Melinda! I used some masking tape to cover some parts of the plates & used neon spray paint to make it pink! Really easy! By accident my white cat turned a little pink as well ;)
