Attic Shots Part 4: 2ND Chance

Hello there blogger friends! Please forgive me for being a little absent lately, I've been pretty busy & also pretty lazy sometimes ;) I've been enjoying the fantastic weather in Holland for the last couple of days... I hope you enjoyed some sunshine as well!

But I also worked on my Attic Shots! This time the theme for me was re-using old or second-hand stuff & giving them a new fresh look! I also mixed it up with some Tokyo inspiration I took with me from my trip. For example the Japanese newspapers I used to decorate the wall & some vases. I still spotted a lot of neon there so I have a feeling it's gonna be here for a while! Almost everything I used in this theme is second-hand. When you re-use a second-hand product, in a way you give it a 2ND Chance. I love this idea! If you have any questions about where what is from or how I made something, just ask! Must-See: Annon Cook Lunchroom

Another Tokyo Must-See is this cute & lovely lunchroom "Annon Cook" in Cat Street. It's a real cosy place with great healthy food!! I love it! You can just taste that it's fresh & home made. Just thinking about it makes me hungry....

Sneak Peek

My next project is all about re-using second hand products & vintage finds! As some of you may know, I'm a big fan of thrift shops & visit them almost weekly... It sort of became an addiction ;) It is so much fun to create a whole new thing by re-using my thrift shop treasures! You will see more later but here's a little Sneak Peek!

Must-See: Tokyu Hands!

My personal favorite shop in Tokyo is "Tokyu Hands"!! If you've ever been there you know what I'm talking about... This place was a little bit of heaven, you can literally find anything here!! There's one floor with all kinds of hobby stuff. You name it, they've got it! I only took a few pictures because I was too busy being excited about all their great products! How awesome are those neon foam boards?! I wanted to buy everything!! Unfortunately that wasn't possible but I did find some great items which I will use for my next project :) I wish we could have a store like this in Holland...

Must-See: Yoyogi Park

If you visit Tokyo, the Yoyogi Park is a place you must visit! Here you'll find the locals (especially on Sundays) hanging out, having a pick-nick, singing, dancing, playing games & basically do whatever they feel like! It's a great vibe! On the first picture you can see the famous Rockabilly Dancers doing their thing, they're always here on Sundays. You can also spot a lot of dogs all dressed up, so cute! I love this park because you can really feel the positive vibe of Japanese people! Go there if you get the chance!!

Tokyo Streets

I'm back! Yesterday I came back from a fantastic trip to Tokyo, oh how I love this city.... Me and my colleague Jaklien were here for a whole week but I'm sure we haven't even seen half of Tokyo, or did we? What I'm sure of is that we did a lot of walking ;) We came back so inspired!! As promised I made a lot of pictures so here's an impression of Tokyo's streets. I hope you will be inspired as well... There's more to come!!

Tokyo Trip!

Tomorrow I'm traveling to Tokyo! I'm super excited!! I'm going on a shopping trip for lot's of inspiration... I don't think finding inspiration will be difficult in this very special city. I will make a lot of pictures & show you what I've been up to very soon!!
