Christmas Wrapping with Greens

Just before Christmas has started you might be in need for some last minute wrapping inspiration... If you have some neutral looking wrapping paper lying around you can easily give your gifts a festive touch by using some greens like eucalyptus or pine springs. As you can see I also made a mini Christmas wreath with some wire and conifers leaves. I made these pictures for the vtwonen blog where I write a piece about greens every week. 3 Ways to Wrap #3

It's time for my last wrapping theme: Festive Green Wrapping! I used the same Ikea boxes as I used with the Monochrome Wrapping theme. The gold wrapping paper, white ribbon & cute tags I bought at Ikea as well. I really loved the Christmas collection at Ikea this year! The pine cones and mini trees I got at Action and the ceramic snowflake at one of my favorite shops Dille & Kamille. The green fir branches give the presents a fresh & extra Christmassy touch! 3 Ways to Wrap #2

I promised to give you more wrapping inspiration so here's my second theme "Sweet Pastel Wrapping"! I did some low budget shopping and found the round gift boxes, the coloured paper, tissue paper, ribbons & cotton yarn at Action. The sticky pom poms you can buy at the Ikea papershop and the paper punch I got at Pipoos. As you can see I made some oversized pastel confetti with the paper punch. Off course you could also use it inside a gift box to make it extra special or put it in a little envelope with a cute Christmas card! With the cotton yarn I made little pom poms and glued them onto one of the boxes. When you make little cuts in the lid of the box you can make a little star with the yarns as well!

Wrapping a gift can be so much fun and it makes the giving of the gift even better! Later this week I'll show you the third and last wrapping theme!

3 Ways to Wrap #1

It's December! Don't you just love this time of the year? It's all about spending time with your close family and friends, decorating your home and off course a lot of gifts! That's why I thought it would be nice to give you some gift wrapping ideas... Today I start with Monochrome Wrapping, black & white it is! I made three simple graphic prints in Adobe Illustrator. If you don't have the resources to make your own prints, just look for them on the internet or draw them by hand. I bought a set of boxes and some ribbons at Ikea and Action. The little christmas tree I made with a piece of thick black paper.

Later on I'll share two other wrapping theme's with you. It involves two of my favourite things (pastels & greens) so make sure to check them out! I wish all the Dutchies a lot of fun with Pakjesavond this Friday!
