Today's Crush: Cool Plant Styling by Victoria Ling

Today I want to share with you these amazing photo's taken by still life photographer Victoria Ling. Often together with a stylist or set designer, Victoria creates still life compositions for various clients such as Elle Decoration, Wallpaper, Clarks, Marie Claire and many more. She also makes beautiful personal work like this series of patterned botanics called "Plant Cells", it's so cool! The patterns on the plants are created with lots of stickers, it seems like a lot of work but the result is stunning, especially combined with the printed wallpaper! For more of Victoria's work go to her website.

Today's Crush: The home of Andres Shaw & Duncan Russel-Smith

I always get inspired by interiors with an unexpected twist. Interiors that tell the story of the people who are living in it. A good example is the interior of designer Andrea Shaw and her partner and furniture maker Duncan Russel-Smith who live in Geelong, Australia. The house is filled with art made by Andrea and friends, vintage furniture, homemade pieces and lots of greens. What's not to love? Read the complete story here!

Today's Crush: The Home of Alice and Lucy Oehr

Today is a good day! Weekend started and our holiday started, yay!! On this happy note I want to share with you a home that I love. It's the home of graphic designer Alice Oehr and her sister Lucy based in Melbourne, Australia. These girls had the opportunity to rent his place from their parents but there was a lot of work to be done! You can see the complete process of the renovation on their blog "The Park Street Project". I must say they did an amazing job, what a supercute home! I'm in love with all the quirky details such as the figurings, the posters, art, patterns but most of all I love that Cockatoo lamp!! I like interiors like this, one big eclectic mix of different styles. Unique in it's own way!

Today's Crush: The Home of Paula and Pete Mills

Again I'm in love with an Australian home that I found through one of my favourite websites The Design Files! Those Aussies have a grate sense of taste don't they?! This family home is owned by illustrator Paula Mills and her husband Peter who's working as a lawyer. They live here together with their three daughters Lia, Rosie and Liberty. Their beautiful home is based in Warrandyte, a suburb of Melbourne, and is surrounded by nature!

It's such a fresh and colourful home with so many nice details that I like. The white base makes the colours pop out even more. I love the fact that it's not overstyled but it all fits together like an eclectic mix of personal treasures!

Today's Crush: the home of Leah Bartholomew

Via The Design Files I came across the draw dropping home of designer Leah Bartholomew in Australia. Leah is working as a freelance graphic designer & also has her own homewares label "Beneath the Sun"! This playful collection consists of pillow cases, ceramics, art prints, postcards, hanging pots and more (I want it!).

I absolutely love this fresh & colourful home which is surrounded by nature and breathes summer! Because this is a rental and the place was for sale, Leah had to move out a while ago but luckily she's moving back in soon!

Today's Crush: The Home of Designer Lisa Marie Andersson

When you see the work of designer Lisa Marie Andersson you wouldn't be surprised with the amazing & creative home she created for herself. I just love every single thing about it, the vintage furniture, the ceramics, her origami pieces and the touches of green! I must say she made the best out of a relatively small apartment. Lisa Marie is the designer behind the paper and clothing label Up The Wooden Hills. On her blog you can follow her latest work and read about her personal inspiration. Check it out!
